Beef Mince is the starting point of most families’ favourite dishes. Think lasagne, spaghetti bolognaise, one pot mince and pasta or just savoury mince and rice! Finely grounded meat from the best of our Namibian free-range cattle.
We believe any dish using mince in the recipe will taste a lot better if you brown your mince first.
1. Heat a little cooking oil of your choice in a large pot or pan.
2. Add your mince to the pan and use a spoon, fork, or spatula to break it apart while stirring it around.
3. Leave to cook, stirring often to prevent burning or the forming of clumps.
4. Add your spices of choice according to the recipe of the dish you are preparing.
5. Remove once the meat turns brown. There should not be any sign of pink meat anymore.
