Beef Stroganoff is a popular dish of small pieces of beef fillet sautéed in sour cream sauce together with onions and mushrooms.
You have never made Beef Stroganoff? Hoof & Feather has a simple recipe suggestion to make delicious Beef Stroganoff from scratch.

1. Cook 2 cups of mushrooms, 2 medium onions (thinly sliced) and 1 crushed clove of garlic together in butter in a saucepan on medium heat until the onions are tender. Remove mixture from saucepan.

2. In the same saucepan, cook 500g stroganoff until brown all over. Stir in one cup of beef broth, ½ tsp salt and 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for a couple of minutes.

3. Add one cup of beef broth to ¼ cup flour and stir into beef mixture. Stir in the onion mixture. Heat to boil while stirring continuously.

4. After about a minute, stir in 1 ½ cups of sour cream. Turn down heat.

5. Serve with rice or noodles.
